Starfall in Surgut

The last contender, with whom Gazprom-Ugra has not yet played in the current championship, St. Petersburg "Zenith" remained. Which the, properly, and come to us 15 January as part of the final first round of the 13th round. What can I say - despite the current fourth place, a team from the category of giants of the first magnitude and more, certainly, will compete for at least a place on the podium.

All three defeats - just from going ahead of Kazan, Novosibirsk and Muscovites - St. Petersburg suffered last fall without Viktor Poletaev. The absence of an injured diagonal temporarily broke the command mechanism, Thomas Sammelvuo was forced to transfer Yegor Kluka to this position. Today Poletaev is in the ranks, Stick in the usual place, and the stellar team is gaining momentum, without losing with 13 November 2021 of the year.

On Saturday at the Premier Arena we will see many interesting figures in addition to, perhaps, the best in Russia in their roles Klyuka and Poletaev. Here is the best libero in the world (in multiple versions) Zhenya Grebennikov, and the engine of the phenomenal Slovenian national team Tine Urnaut, and one of Russia's best blockers, Ivan Yakovlev, plus his rival Dmitry Pashitsky. G, of course, pupil of the Surgut volleyball Igor Kobzar, silver, as well as Gossip, Poletaev and Yakovlev, medalist of the 2020 Olympics. It is not excluded, that another person who is not a stranger to us will appear on the site, who grew up to be a big player in Gazprom-Ugra Kirill Ursov.

But looking at the stars is one thing, but beating the stars is another. "Gazprom-Ugra", certainly, will not be the favorite of the match even in the status of the owner of the site. But it is home matches that our team succeeds this season much better than away ones - why not catch on with the favorite? Basically, if Surgut demonstrate that level of play, what they are capable of - it’s not easy for anyone with them. We do not have stars of the level of "Zenith", but there is a good rotation, team spirit, fan support and, the main thing, desire to fight. Are these arguments capable of stopping the team from St. Petersburg? Come to the Premier Arena and see everything for yourself.
