Six matches, six wins, sixth place!

Home tour In the Youth Volleyball League for YUKIOR has become a kind of test for claims in the current season: if there is a goal to compete in the final for 1-6 seats (and the last couple of seasons we are familiar participants there), it was necessary to win. Which was done - six wins in six matches and the current sixth place in the standings.
The tour started with a victory 3:0 (25:18, 25:23, 25:23) over a direct competitor, Nizhny Novgorod ASK-2. Our guys managed to finish two difficult endings, Maxim Kirillov, who returned to the role of setter, showed himself from the best side (4 ace and 1 block), central blocker Konstantin Bessogonov (15 points, 67% efficiency in attack, 5 blocks), diagonal Alexander Krasilnikov (13 points from 50% efficiency) and Libero Egor Vlaskov, gave 73% positive reception.
In the second game, an unpleasant incident almost happened - we were leading in a match with the National Team of the Republic of Belarus 2:0 (25:20, 25:18), but then there was a twenty-minute pause due to a technical error in the protocol. Consequently, loss of concentration and two missed games with the same score 23:25. The guys gathered for the decisive set and took over - 15:11. This match can be noted 6 blocks performed by Maxim Kirillov.
The final fight of the first round was concentrated by YUKIOR and beat "Belogorye-2" 3:0 (25:20, 35:33, 25:23). Reception withstood Vlaskov (60% positive), Skvortsov and Evseev (by 50%), Bessogonov and Krasilnikov proved themselves in the attack, who also scored three aces, also three "stars" on the "board" serving Kirillov.
After a day of rest, another difficult victory over ASK-2, this time 3:1 (25:22, 26:24, 17:25, 25:23). Vlaskov again issued 60% to accept, Kirillov designed 5 blocks, the rest played smoothly and usefully. In the second duel with the Belarusians, YUKIOR proved, that the previous crash was an accident and almost set the MVL season record for points difference, defeating the opponent with a score 25:16, 25:9, 25:17. Again, everything went from the reception, 71% (!) in Vlaskova i 57% in Evseev. On the pitch, Bessogonov sold out - 4 Ace.
In the final match of the tour, our guys had no problems with Belogorye-2: 3:0 (25:14, 25:18, 25:20). Habitually cool in the reception of Vlaskov (67%), 2 ace and 4 block near Kirillov, 3 ace and 4 block at Bessogonov, 57% in the attack showed Alexander Evseev. You ask, where is the leader of the Surguts Ivan Skvortsov? Here, on site! The player played with a medical limitation and practically did not hit the ball, but earned a lot of points with discounts, and also helped a lot in reception and on the block.
Leverage in the replay was framed by the second replay player, Rookie of YUKIOR Alexander Evseev 2007 the year of birth, who played beyond his years maturely and confidently. Egor Vlaskov cemented the reception, Konstantin Bessogonov added fire in the center of the grid, Maxim Kirillov for MVL is already a top level, although in Surgut they always expect more from him. Pleases with progress and Alexander Krasilnikov, played without substitutions on the position of the diagonal. Other guys were also involved in the game and proved to be great in their segments.. Generally, Artem Khabibullin's team successfully coped with injuries, and with the organization of the game and, Consequently, with the task.
We staked out the coveted sixth place, and to stay on it, in the last round it is enough to win four victories in six matches. Our rivals are the hosts of the fifth round from Krasnoyarsk "Yenisei-2", "Nova-2" and "Dinamo-LO-2". They all take places below us, what, however, does not promise an easy life. Nevertheless, the most important step towards the goal has been taken, and the games of the final round will start in Krasnoyarsk 29 January.
Given the fact, that ahead of us by two victories ASK-2 in the last, fifth round, will play two matches with Dynamo-Olimp, and two more - with Zenit-UOR, also claiming the Final Six, to get into the top six according to the results of a smooth championship, it is enough for us to win four victories in six matches.
