The Surgut team won the first victory of the season with almost no diagonal support - Nikita Alekseev was not at ease on the net, Rajab Shahbanmirzaev, who replaced him, also played not very confidently.. But Vadim Ozhiganov finally managed to glue the team interactions, plus the serve flew off - and Vadim in particular, and the team as a whole.

The match actually started just with ace Ozhiganov, but the hosts lost two breaks in the opening to the mark 8:8, and after the unrealized attack of Alekseev, Kukhno even brought ASK ahead. The situation was decisively changed by the filing of the diagonal "Gazprom-Ugra". I told the guys after the game, what to draw conclusions and move forward. Only the fourth round, nothing global and critical happened.

But that's not why we lost, lost to themselves. After the second game, the coach told us, that according to statistics we win absolutely in all respects, other than on account. God forbid, so that it becomes a lesson for us, hurtful defeat, I will not hide. But let it better happen in the fourth round, farther, I'm sure, will be better.

I also want to tell everyone, that I don't get yellow cards on purpose (in the last three matches in Surgut, Andrey Titich earned them - approx.. aut.). Although not, it happens, which is special - when you need to shake up partners, use everything, so to speak, methods. There is such a psychological moment, but I didn’t carry any special semantic load to the judges. Always want to win, nervous work.

Surgut had a good libero today, Nikita Nagaets, which we had that year. Do not know, did he remember us that way, but it looked like such a courage, well luck was on their side: breastfeeding, shoulder, back, I do not know, somehow they had the ball flying up. We always go to win, be it Surgut or, you don't think pathos, Kazan. If the opponent gives a chance, we try to cling to it and win. Today was such a chance, but we lost ourselves.
