The hosts immediately found the weak link in the Surgut team: the serve flew to Korotaev, Ivan immediately floated away in the reception, and even tried hard on the net – he hit the block twice, once out, plus, during an effective attack, Alekseev returned the point to “Yenisei” by touching the rope, 0:4. Korotaev is replaced by namesake Skvortsov, Alekseev gets stuck in Ursov's single block, 1:6. And then hits out on a free ball, 3:8.
For some time, Gazprom-Yugra was digesting the launch failure, and then began to catch up, which was greatly facilitated by three shots into touch by the former captain of the Surgut team Kirill Ursov, 12:14. Tarasenko covers Busela one-on-one, 15:16. it seems, that the game has leveled off, but Kuhno shoots a cunning glider into the second zone, Katic gives Murashko a passing ball, 16:19. And then the lack of teamwork between Skvortsov and Ozhiganov affected: Ivan went for a quick pass, got a parachute, stuck, and threw it into the net - 17:21. Murashko supports the tactics, which works: two-piece glider, failed reception, low pass, Alekseev – out. Gazprom-Ugra time-out, but nothing changes, only now the passing ball is given to Ursov by Krsmanovic, 18:24.
Alekseev is being removed, Kitchen can't cope with pipe in low gear, we have one more game, but Katic is “reliably” in the block, 20:25.
The Surgut team managed to mirror the start of the second set: 4:1 – Korotaev scores a passing ball after a pass from Ozhiganov, and then Murashko closes one on one. Meanwhile, Yenisey has unobvious discounts in the center of the grid, plus we give away our balls in the fourth zone. Rudnev equalizes the score with a butt attack 20:20 and, it seems, there will be a tense ending. But Murashko hits the line, Rudnev, in a protracted rally, attacks the block from a pass from Krsmanovich, and only Ursov’s touch, confirmed by video, rewrites Korotaev’s attack as a “plus”, 21:22 on your serve. Korotaev serves out, and the owners target Skvortsov first, and then Korotaeva - we are without filming, Ursov puts a point from the back line, 21:25.
In the third set, Gazprom-Yugra went into perestroika: Kirillov came out to pass, Shevlyakov appeared instead of Tarasenko, Skvortsov, Korotaev and Rudnev remained on the site. At 0:2 Obmochaev prevents Yenisei from taking a lead, creating beauty in protection. Rudnev is closed by a block, but corrects himself on serve – Filippov, trying to save the ball, allows two touches, 5:5. Equal game again, in which Kreskin bets on Murashko, and Kirillov - to Rudnev, not forgetting, however, feed and the center of the grid. It is Krsmanovic’s attack into touch that gives the hosts a break advantage, 11:13. There’s a long rally and Murashko’s attack on his fingers, 11:14.
Krsmanovic corrects himself after the time-out, Murashko doesn't fit the line, Rudnev gives an ace, 15:16. Kirillov persists, loading Skvortsov in the fourth zone with not the highest quality passes, and Ivan is breaking into the block, 15:17. When the quality of the pass to the four is low, Shevlyakov helps out, but the owners continue to frolic Murashko, 17:21. Skvortsov finally breaks through Yanutov himself (19:21), but Kirillov and Korotaev, with serve errors, give the opponent two crucial points, 20:23. Krsmanovic is filming, Ursov technically bypasses a triple block with a twist into the fourth zone, and the very first match point is converted by Murashko with an ace.
We've been torn again, where thin - in doigrovku. Plus the quality of the pass was limp, the reception was sailing, serving past the cash register... But I still want to focus on the positive. After the first game we, basically, blocking and defensive play improved, there were a lot of pre-game moments. Vyacheslav Rudnev came out well, show, that we really have three equal diagonal. Shevlyakov played reliably, for Skvortsov, time on set is an invaluable experience, the guy's 2005 year of birth potential visible. Generally, as they say, there are options. bad, that they are still raw and have to develop stability, what is called, with blood.
