The third round of the championship of Russia ended in MVL, YUKIOR held games in his native Khanty-Mansiysk, with four wins in six matches. We asked to talk about past battles, tournament prospects and mood in the team of YUKIOR head coach Artem Khabibullin.

This is a very good team with a good selection of players. Despite their standings, understood, that the games won't be easy. They are, by the way, the only, who has beaten Dynamo-Olympus Moscow so far, and, losing 0:2. Realizing it all, we made certain lineup changes. We had a problem with the second follower, we got a guy 2007 of the year, Fidana Gusamova. He has never been to our playground before., but it helped a lot in the first game.
Then there was a game with "Samotlor". Initially, they wanted to rejuvenate, but things didn't go well in the first two rounds, and in the third round, Vartovites returned their more experienced players. Completely different team. But the first time they managed to beat them quite easily., 3:1. In this game Maxim Kirillov served 10 aces, what, certainly an outstanding result, but it would be better for me, if he served three aces in each game, not like that, what's in one 10, and in others - nothing.
Third game with the Torch, led in the first set 15:11, but the same Kirillov began a marriage in his main working element, transfer, and we flew away 23:25. In the third installment, it seemed, that were able to return to the game, but eventually gave in. I also note, that our leader Vanya Skvortsov played on the moral-volitional, he has a minor injury. When the leader has some health problems, everyone else is also not very comfortable. Vanya is a great guy, we are grateful for his patience.
In the second game with Peter we played more confidently, won 3:1, but I already understood, that with the "Torch" we do not have enough power in the attack, because Vanya could not attack at full strength. Then we transferred Kirillov in the game with Nizhnevartovsk to the position of an outside player, but with an eye on the "Torch". New Urengoy were in first place, they beat everyone - go to them with the boys 2007 years hard. We tactically decided to dedicate the game against Nizhnevartovsk to the preparation for the game against Urengoy. It seemed, everything went very well, he says 2:0, in the third installment 15:12, in the fourth - 18:13, and even in the fifth were ahead 12:10, but still managed to give in. stupid defeat, also not very appropriate from a tournament point of view. But I was pleased with the reaction of the team. Speaking of players, then over the past three rounds, twenty people have already visited the site, there is no such rotation anywhere else in MVL.
