There are three big holidays in Surgut - New Year, City Day and Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers. It's time for the third, but not in importance - the professional holiday of oil and gas workers. It is impossible to break the history of great Siberian oil and gas from the history of Surgut and Yugra. In the last half century this, in fact, the same story. It is impossible to imagine Surgut and Ugra without Surguttransgaz, "Surgutgazprom", Gazprom Transgaz Surgut.

One of the most powerful and backbone enterprises of the region is now celebrating its 45 years old, so the September professional holiday for Surgut gas workers is a special. We understand well the feelings of gas workers, because they themselves are a little involved in this great story. The Gazprom-Yugra Volleyball Club was founded a quarter of a century ago as a working team of the Gas Condensate Stabilization Plant of Surgutgazprom, so what can you say, that "we are from gas".

So in Surgut tens of thousands of people can say about themselves, not only employees of OOO Gazprom transgaz Surgut, but also subcontractors, contractors, fellow oilmen, power engineers, their family members ... yes, almost the entire city! Every day the whole Surgut, the whole Ugra breathes the same air, lives for one thing, forming the backbone of the Russian economy in extreme natural conditions.

We are happy to be a small part of this life, this unfinished story. 45 years - the age of prosperity!
