YUKIOR started in the international league: bye 50 on 50

YUKIOR played the first round of the Russian Championship in the Youth Volleyball League. Debut of a new, in fact, but not yet able to systematically make a result and pull a load of, took place in Novosibirsk, our team played two matches with the local Lokomotiv-SShOR, "Zenith-UOR" from Kazan and "Neftyanik-2" from Orenburg. The result is fifty percent: lost twice to the hosts, beat Orenburg twice and cut with Kazan, exchanging five-set wins.

We asked the head coach of YUKIOR Artema Khabibullina comment on the start in the championship:

"The result is normal.. There were no big expectations, because the line-up has seriously rejuvenated. Maxim Kirillov and Pavel Tebenikhin have grown to the Superleague, Konstantin Bessogonov gets game practice in Izhevsk, and we had two players on the court at once 2007 the year of birth. The binder is half the team, the replacement process cannot be painless, and we have a 14-year-old player in this position.

Kazan is always very difficult. In the first meeting we lost 1:2 and 13:16 And then there is also an incentive for YUKIOR - in certain scenarios, we could even take third place, but managed to turn the tide of the game. Didn't work out well in the second match.: unsuccessful start managed to be deployed due to replacements, but early believed in the final success. painful, of course, defeat, but this is an invaluable experience for the guys.

Cannot be said, that we are satisfied, but the result allows you to fight on. This season it will be very difficult to fight for getting into the six, we are much younger than other teams, but no one is going to give up. From the positive note, that we have widely used the composition, almost all 14 players entered the court, everyone got practice. Important, that the replacements worked, benefited. Make a new team off the wheels hard, added young people, who didn’t even go to training camps with us, they just need to play, understand our requirements. They move from children's volleyball to MVL, it's a whole other level, a huge step forward".

It remains to be reminded, that the second round of the international championship for YUKIOR starts 22 October in Moscow, our rivals are league champion, capital "Dynamo-Olympus", Kemerovo "Kuzbass-2" and "Berkuts of the Urals" from Ufa.
