SURGUT PEOPLE OPENED THE SEASON WITH A TOUGH VICTORY

Started in Tyumen “Cup of Western Siberia and the Urals in memory of Yuri Furaev” with the participation of Gazprom-Ugra. In addition to Surgut, hosts from VC "Tyumen" play in it, Nizhnevartovsk "Samotlor" and "Locomotive-Izumrud" from Yekaterinburg.

In the debut meeting of the season, Gazprom-Ugra beat Tyumen with a score 3:2 (match statistics). Surgut residents arrived in the regional capital, in fact, in the middle of training camps - to take a little break from physical activity and start building game connections on the court. All volleyball players took part in the game, except for the sick Alexander Chefranov and Vladimir Ivanov. Surgutians confidently won the first game - 25:21 (8:4; 16:10), which was greatly facilitated by the marriage of an opponent: Tyumen made twice as many mistakes, 12 against 6 at Gazpromovtsev. But already in the second set the hosts calmed down, set up the game and took over - 25:22, having achieved a decisive advantage in the attack - 17 from command 11 at Gazprom-Ugra. However, the game was tied until the score 19:19, and only after that the Tyumen people succeeded in a decisive breakthrough - 24:20, served well by Dmitry Permyakov, and Andrey Maksimov sold the game balls.

In the third installment, the hosts managed to repay the starting impulse of the guests immediately after the technical break (8:8), and then went ahead altogether - 13:16. After Ilya Makarov blocked Bogdan Glivenko twice, the gap grew to four goals – 14:18, but the time-out taken by Alexei Babeshin made adjustments to the game, 17:18. Now the head coach of Tyumen Sergey Shulga is forced to take a break, and in the end the opponents enter on the balance sheet: 22:22, 24:24… Maximov brings set-balls to his team twice, but it doesn't go any further, but when Leonid Shchadilov swung the scales in favor of Gazprom-Ugra (27:26), Surgutians took advantage of the chance, earning a victory with a scoring block, 28:26.

In the fourth set, the Surgut team played catch-up, overtaking the opponent and releasing again. The first race started from 1:4 and ended at the mark 9:9 After the song performed by Khabibullina. For a while there was parity (13:13), after which "Tyumen" accelerated again - and this time there was not enough strength - 21:25, and we will note the good game of Alexander Platonov, who is well known to us.

The decisive set started with two blocks in a row performed by the hosts - 0:2. With the score 3:5 Babeshin takes a break, after which our block has already earned, which brought the minimum advantage to the Surgutians to change sides, 8:7. The hosts even managed to take the lead – 10:9 after the Makarov block on Ursov, but the ending was for the guests. The same Ursov brings his team forward - 11:10, and Shchadilov puts the decisive point, 15:12.

As part of Gazprom-Ugra 18 points at 48% effectiveness in attack and 75% positive reception scored by Kirill Ursov. On the account of Bogdan Glivenko 17 points (42%), 16 points in the asset of Artem Dovgan (74% efficiency in attack), 11 scored by Leonid Shchadilov (48% in acceptance and 64% in attack), Nikolai Beskrovny and Kirill Ursov scored five and four blocks respectively. In Tyumen, the bulk of the points were scored by three players - Andrey Maksimov (22), Egor Makarov (22, including 8 blocks), Fyodor Bessmertnykh (21).

In another match of the tournament, Lokomotiv-Izumrud beat Samotlor with a score of 3:1.
