"Gazprom-Ugra" (Surgut): Ozhiganov - Shakhbanmirzaev, Shevlyakov – Kurbatov, Rodichev – Krasikov, Nagaets/Obmochaev
Two aces by Zudin in the opening and Dynamo leads 5:2. Our team fights through long rallies with breaks through the attacks of Shevlyakov and Radzhab and almost gets, 6:7. But Krasikov is deaf in the fourth zone - 8:12. The difference remains until entering the ending, when Rajab misses a hard ball on a putback, and Zudin accurate in the play-off, 15:21. After a timeout from Surgut, Rudnev comes out to serve and the evening ceases to be languid: freeball with Rajab coming behind the head of the setter for a narrow pass (the blockers weren't waiting) plus two aces, 19:21. Rajab scores two more aces and things get really interesting., 22:22. Instead of Zudin, who swam in the move, Semyshev appears, Bogdan is filming (22:23), and the fate of the set is decided by the Dynamo block. Pankov covers Rodichev, Rajab is leaning against the block, after securing, he also looks for an opportunity to throw the ball to an unprotected place, but finds out, 22:25.
In the second set, the Surgut team earned a block. Twice Zudin and Sokolov bump into the opponent’s hands, 6:3. Pankov responds with an ace (8:7). Rodichev catches the Dynamo setter’s discount – it turned out beautifully, 15:12. And again a block - this time to Bogdan and Belogortsev, 17:14, Shevlyakov manages to get to the center, and to the edge of the grid. Krasikov finally scores with a cool pass down the line, 20:16, Ozhiganov immediately knocks Zudin out of the move, scoring a couple of aces (22:16) and on the site again Semyshev. Pankov uses his foot to protect the rebound from the block after Sokolov’s hit, but Rodichev insists on a set point, 24:17. Semyshev is filming, Sokolov takes into touch, 25:18.
In the third game, Dynamo made eight service errors, six of them are towards the mark 8:6. Yes, up to this point, the Surgut residents had scored all the points solely on the marriage of Muscovites. Ionov was the first to distinguish himself, replaced Kurbatov, 7:9. But then there follows a failure on Semyshev’s serves.: Rajab's transmission error, Sokolova playoff, block to Rodichev, Vlasov finishes the net ball, 7:13.
Rajab's excellent serve gives us a chance, which crashes against the Beetle, who replaced Belogortsev, 10:15. But there are other possibilities: Rajab is filming, Rodichev brings Shevlyakov to the passing ball, and then knocks Kerminen out of the move, 13:15. Vlasov's time is coming: Ilya finished hanging and returned Rajab's discount, and then closed with a single block from Ionov, 14:20. The fourth game swings again with aces - Semyshev is different (3:4) and again with a doublet - Rajab (6:4). Krasikov threw the passing ball to Ozhiganov - he scored, Bogdan did not find a site, 9:6. Krasikov himself in the attack again rests against the block, Rajab is also dragged, 9:9. 12:12 after another Dmitry discount to the block. Freeball on Rajab's serve – Rodichev hits out, 15:15. Can, of course, talk about the quality of the programs, but the gamers don’t fix anything. But Ozhiganov decides by serving: ace in Bogdana (20:18), shot at Kerminen – Rajab scores the passing ball (21:18), Semyshev hits touch without touching the block, which sets up the video review and causes Bryansky to time out. In the end, the substitute Zudin almost corrects everything: knockout serves, Sokolov and Semyshev work in the final games, 21:22. The next draw is the climax: Sokolov has another chance, but Tsvetan attacks into touch. And once again, presentation decides everything, this time Krasikova – Rodichev converts the passing ball and an ace on set point, 25:21.
Should we be surprised?, that in the tiebreak everything was also decided by the serve? Flying with terrible force: Dynamo reloaded their signature weapon and issued seven aces (Sokolov has three, Semyshev has three and one, final, at Vlasov's). Gazprom-Yugra could not resist under such pressure and it is unlikely that anyone could, no replacements helped, no timeouts. There’s definitely nothing to blame our guys for here.. As for the match as a whole, there was a struggle amid mutual mistakes, was a character, there was a fifth set in Moscow with Dynamo. This game, despite the gut-wrenching experience of the ending, must, I think, instill confidence in the Surgut team for the remaining two matches: you can play with everyone, you can beat everyone. And such a presentation, like Dynamo in the fifth game, happens once every five years.
