At the end of July in "Volei Grad" (Vityazevo village, Krasnodar region) the traditional review of the nearest reserves of the national team took place - Chesnokov Memorial. Teams of Russia U21 took part in the tournament, U19, U17 and Belarus U21 team.
The “senior” Russian team naturally became the winner, where the players under the age of 21 of the year. The main setter and captain of this team is the player of "Gazprom-Ugra" Maxim Kirillov. Team Russia U19 finished second, Belarusians were third. For the youngest team under the age of 17 players of the Gazprom-Ugra system Gordey Kachurov and Alexander Evseev have been performing for years.
