Surgut and Nizhnevartovsk united for the Spartakiad

Joint efforts of Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk and Nizhnevartovsk young volleyball talents of Ugra managed to get to the final of the 5th Russian Youth Spartakiad. The decisive starts will take place from 11 by 20 August in Belorechensk, Krasnodar Territory. In the meantime, in Surgut, the Sports Training Center of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra is holding a preparatory training camp for the Yugra team on the basis of the Gazprom-Yugra VC.

Preparing for the games 16 pupils of the club systems of VK "Gazprom-Yugra" and "Yugra-Samotlor", including students of the Ugra Boarding College of the Olympic Reserve, they are prepared by the head coach of the MVL "Star of Yugra" team Andrey Chirkov. The best teams of the regions will take part in the Spartakiad 2003-2004 year of birth. Ugra could use the help of Maxim Kirillov and Pavel Vakhmyanin, but two young residents of Surgut got into the Russian U19 team and will play at the World Cup, taking place in the same time frame. In spite of this, Ugra squad remains among the contenders for the highest places - we wish the guys good preparation and successful performance in Belorechensk!
