It's almost summer, and we just had a traditional conversation with the head coach of Gazprom-Ugra Rafael Khabibullin, dedicated to the end of the season. – Rafael Talgatovich, your main impressions are here and now?

Our Governor Natalya Komarova gave us a hall. You know our long history with the Premier Arena sports complex: we have been paying fabulous commercial rent for two decades. Now the issue has been moved off the ground by the efforts of the governor, if everything works out - this is a huge event for us in the year of the 25th anniversary of the club.

– What about the construction of a new sports complex?

We have 7,5 hectares in a posh location, in the Ob floodplain. I think, sooner or later we will build a volleyball palace there. Now we are engaged in project documentation, we will present the project. In the meantime, we pay rent and we also want to build a palace (laughs - author.).

– you said, what the club this year 25 years…

Yes! 12 April, on Cosmonautics Day, in 1996 year I was with Khamit Nurmukhametovich Yasaveev, Director of SOK. by the way, 26 May he turns 70 years old. This is an aerobatics figure, in 27 years laureate of the State Prize, he is one of those people, on which everything rests.

I came to him with two questions. The first is to make a working team of my pupils on the basis of the plant. Take them to work as locksmiths, engineers, security guards, instructors, according to the Korean model. There were crazy defaults at the time, a lot of problems, but at the ZSK everything was different, subsidiary farming and even "money", "Yasaveyki" notorious. He answered me right away: “Come on!». We were the same working team and advanced to the major league "A", we only have Kobzar Sr.was the only freed player.

“And the second question is what?"- asks. I say okay, first decided and good. I wanted to go to Atlanta for the Olympics, where my pupil Stas Dineykin played. Yasaveev decided to send me there, but I didn't fly, since the team appeared, I collected money for it.

Us 25 years old, of them 20 years in the Super League. I never tire of repeating, that we are very stable, the ratio of price and quality is at the level of the Guinness Book of Records. What is interesting - no one has ever been for these 25 for years did not set us any tasks. Once Yuri Ivanovich Vazhenin, being the head of Gazprom Pererabotka, said - we were just then two times in a row the fourth, CEV Cup final - “don't break your heart, there, to the very top, don't go, there is other money, everything is different there ". But I will say, that it is very difficult to be in the Super League, it doesn't matter, where is. A very powerful league.

– Dineykin returned with bronze from Athens-2004 ... Now there are similar options?

I think, the current Olympic team will have three people from Ugra. Igor Kobzar will definitely be, this is our pupil. He's generally lucky, with him and Zenit in the next championship there are more chances of winning. Anton Semyshev - whatever Shipulin says, no matter how Bryansky helped him, we know, where Semyshev took the wing. I don't focus on people, which we flew, but they are all our children, we follow them and rejoice. Plus Artem Volvich is a quarter of the Olympic team from Ugra! There were four Ugra residents in Rio, third of the team. This is an indicator, which cannot be ignored. And what they can bring from Tokyo is a rhetorical question.. hope, what medals. In other Olympic team sports, we have no such chances..

- Let's go back to the last season. A protracted series of defeats at the start, a large number of young people on the site ...

season, despite all the difficulties, turned out to be very interesting. We played for the first time in the format, when we were just artists, painted their oil painting. bad, that we played a lot without fans: this is very difficult for us, it's like an artist to perform without spectators.

As for the appearance of a large number of young people, this from a series would not be happiness, yes misfortune helped. clear, what, probably, one or two people from our youth have really earned the right to appear on the site in the Super League, for the most part it is still from the category of young green. It turned out like this, that right before the first round, four people fell ill, then three more. And the regulations have not yet been worked out, old norms were in effect: first refusal - technical defeat, second - withdrawal from the championship. There is simply nowhere to go.

I watched my assistants - Malyshev, Troinin. The players and coaching staff were completely green this year, I threw them into this test. I think, coped fine, worthy.

Despite a streak of defeats, we had to crawl into the top ten. clear, that many points were given in this covid story, plus in January, three game weekends, two matches in a row, were extremely difficult. It seemed to me, that we will play hard at home, young boys had to endure. Did not work out, Orenburg was given one game, Bottom two times 2:3 conceded, then they lost to Ufa, although they led 2:1. So the chances are gone.

We've always been in the playoffs with rare exceptions, but these victories have a downside. People are growing up, head starts spinning. Look at Samotlor - for the first time in 20 years they ended up there and did not manage to save anyone. And we go through this every year. When you missed the playoffs, I set a bar for myself - we should not be 13-14, must keep the "virtual" registration.

- And what about the youth this season?

We have always been very closely engaged in youth. 4th in the Youth League this year, 5th in the MVL Cup, only federal projects are higher than us. Although in youth volleyball, places in places, but the main thing is that players reach the highest level.

Conditions are excellent. There is YUKIOR (Ugra Olympic Reserve Boarding College in Khanty-Mansiysk - approx. aut.), I find, what is the best standard of youth volleyball in Russia, if we take it comprehensively: training, material and technical base, study, recovery, safety. Cumulatively it's the best, what is in Russia, one big problem remains - a sample of young players is needed.

No people, there is not enough gene pool now. But still, in this area, we carry out state functions to strengthen that very gene pool.. We do not abandon the guys, we help to somehow get settled in life - otherwise what awaits them? The Super League will play 1-2 a person from the team. An intelligent person sees this and learns from other people's mistakes., fool - on their own. For some reason everyone tries to learn from their own.

– How much does one young player cost for the club?? Bring it from the youth team to the Super League?

In YUKIOR they once said - we have 300 pupils (many sports are developed there, not only volleyball - approx. aut.), 300 million budget. And we want 400, somewhere like this. In fact, it is not measured in money.. The main thing is not money, and dad and mom, and from us already some small percentage, which we can tighten. Scouts come with bags of money today, buy parents, first trainers, but a bag of money will not replace genes and attitudes towards a person.

- How is your personal fitness and wellness program doing?? In past years, she made a splash, and now everyone is used to seeing you in such excellent physical shape.

At the moment, she's not so pretty., although it depends on what to compare. I once weighed 124 kilograms, now the optimal weight is 84. Right now - 89, end of season, fatigue, relaxed a little. See, on the clock 7.59 in the morning, I have already 3,6 km ran, yesterday was 17 Km. I ran on average last year 11,7 km per day, so far it turns out 9,9. I'm losing to myself, did not reach the order this year 300 Km, it's like the road to the Khanty. I catch up.

Cyclic sports, running is a kind of meditation, salt, way to unload the head. In the season, about two kilograms of weight per game goes away - stress, emotional overload. Every year it is more and more difficult to perform in this theater. Although I do nothing to the public, everything comes from within. When you have animals on the site, when the team itself flies, you can also play on the viewer, take the tablet in hand. Otherwise, you need to give an impulse, give all the best.

Returning to health - the main thing is still food. Exercise gives ten percent success, not more. And the food culture in our country is zero..

- You are not offended by comments on the Internet, that Gazprom-Yugra is a place for weight loss?

Not, I'm not offended. Comments like this are just envy.. Many just don't understand, what is it about. Ask: "If you see a player at McDonald's or KFC, kick out?». Well no, of course! Here you are driving a Mercedes, you are running out of gasoline, not a single normal gas station around, but there is something incomprehensible. You pour 10 liters, to get there, and then your Mercedes starts sneezing and goes to service. Organism, of course, more complex and secure system, but the comparison is quite relevant.

Then these Mercedes come to me, who no longer go, and it turns out, that I kick them out? They decided everything for themselves, because everything comes from the head first of all. And from culture, terrain, traditions, if you want to. Look at Sokolov, look at Luburic, look at the balkan guys, on the Italians, on the French. How do they eat? And we have one diagonal Mikhailov and Crystal Poletaev, apart from Musersky. Musersky is Musersky, not diagonal. Further - silence. - Let's walk through the composition of Gazprom-Yugra. Who will be in our "gene pool" for the next season?

Chereysky was of no use to anyone two years ago, is now leaving for Novosibirsk, fight for medals. We are satisfied with the cooperation, he too. the main thing, so that the square does not stagnate, so as not to forget about him. At all, this is absolutely our way - to bring players into high orbit, and Chereisky in this sense is absolutely our man. thanks to him, like Alexey Chanchikov, with whom we also part.

We returned to the libero position Alexey Kabeshov, I know him, he will return to national team level. Couple to him - Nikita Eremin, called from Belgorod: I'm northern, He speaks, guy, from Norilsk! Let's look at him.

Evgeny Rukavishnikov is having a hard time alone. There was not a single party, so that a person does not wonder. But - man. Can get over himself, show class. At all, we are spoiled for good binders, Vasilenko, Kobzar, Khabibullin is the same, Brdzovic ... Let's take Ivan Lukyanenko, I think, he will fit well into the team, will help.

- Rodion Miskevich - what was it?

We set them ourselves. We'll be in the top ten - nosebleed! We will also fight for each viewer, volleyball loses its meaning without them. Such a fan, as in Surgut, there is nowhere - it is self-sufficient, with self-respect. We are sagging on infrastructure, no normal access roads, no room inside for service, there is no place to arrange even a clean zone. But we will fight, let's take a spectacle, and volleyball, and not only - I think about the show for every match, any ideas. We are not just like that, we are physical culture, where culture is the main word. We carry education, education, emotion, joy to people in our difficult times. It is important. We will broadcast good.

- The last philosophical question: what is the main thing in life?

The most important thing is to live in harmony with yourself. And the rest ... Here's to us 25 years old, 20 years in the Super League - we don't shout about it. What for? These are just numbers, albeit pleasant. The main thing is what you have inside, what are you breathing. If there is harmony, you don't have to look at the numbers at all.
