GAZPROM-YUGRA RECOGNIZED RIVALS IN THE RUSSIAN CUP
The composition of the groups of the preliminary stage of the Russian Volleyball Cup has been published. Teams from the Super League and Major League “A” will take part in the tournament..
Surgut club "Gazprom-Yugra" was included in the first subgroup, together with the Russian champion Kemerovo "Kuzbass". These groups will be accompanied by the Samara-based “Nova”, "Lokomotiv-Izumrud" from Ekaterinburg, "Tyumen" and "Magnitka-University" from Magnitogorsk.
The matches of the first round of the preliminary stage will be held from 17 by 22 September in Kemerovo, second round games will take place from 8 by 13 October in Surgut.
To the semi-final stage (15-17 November) The two best teams from each group will advance, as well as three third-place teams with the best performance. The Final Four will take place 26-27 December.
