Surgut residents start over: Serov serves sharply again, Andreev is first on the ball, then Georgy himself scores a pipe after a freeball on his own serve, 18:16. Absolutely nothing worked: no reception, neither serve, no block. obviously, today is not our day. First of all, I would like to apologize to our fans for, that they played poorly. hope, in the future we will upset them much less. This is a good lesson for us in that regard, that there was an underestimation of the opponent. Surgut - handsome guys, came out and showed us, that you can't do that, you have to fight everyone to the death.
Alexander Chefranov, trainer of VC "Gazprom-Yugra" Surgut: Today was a very good game, there were a lot of cool moments, there were a lot of long jokes, what does that mean, that the team is ready to fight. I won’t single anyone out today, I will highlight our common game. The whole team fought for each other, Well done guys. Served quite well today, factor of its hall and excellent support from the stands affected. When it starts to work out, you become liberated., and it continues to work out. Without detracting from our merits, maybe the opponent didn’t show that game, which we were preparing for.
Georgy Serov, Spiker of VC "Gazprom-Yugra": We played quite confidently today. Everyone was confident in their abilities, we maintained that level until the end, with whom we started the game. We fought for each other, won good periods on serve, survived the reception - that was the most important thing today. We also managed to build a blocking defense and, thanks to this, won the counterattack. I won't tell, that Lokomotiv was not tuned in, every team understands, that outsiders can bite too. It is important for leaders to maintain that level, which they need, to win the championship.
