YUKIOR has started: four out of four!
The half-renovated YUKIOR successfully started in the Youth Volleyball League: four victories in the first round in Nizhnevartovsk, Belogorye-2 and Yenisei-2 were beaten twice each.
Ugra residents, winners of the last regular season, entered the current season with a noticeably updated face. Maxim Kirillov and Ivan Skvortsov became entrenched in Gazprom-Yugra, The baton of leadership was picked up from them by diagonal Roman Parkhomenko and central blocker Petr Petrenko - they became the heroes of the first match with the Belgorod team. Same day, when Gazprom-Yugra made a comeback in the Super League match against Dynamo-Ural, our youth performed a similar feat.

The first match with Krasnoyarsk was also difficult, labor victory again, this time 3:1 (25:19, 23:25, 25:18, 25:22). And again the best member of YUKIOR is Roman Parkhomenko, shot 22 points with utility coefficient +18.
The repeated meeting with Belogorye-2 brought another five games. This time it's a tough fight (25:20, 20:25, 24:26, 29:27) ended with an overwhelming advantage in the tiebreaker, 15:6. The first round for YUKIOR ended with another rendezvous with Yenisei-2, which this time passed in a calm manner for the Ugra residents: 3:0 (25:17, 25:23, 25:19).
With four wins and 10 with points in the box, YUKIOR became one of the leading teams in the league. Next stop – Ufa, Where 22 October 2nd round starts. Our rivals are the local “Berkuts of the Urals - BashGAU” and “Neftyanik-UOR” from Orenburg.
