It started, as usual, from Slavi's ace - the ball slowed down on the rope and fell into the hosts' court, 2:1. The hosts made their breakthrough on Stern's serves: first Rodichev covered the block, and then at the crashed reception of the guests, Fetsov did not miss the chance to finish the game, 12:15. Nikiforov misses the court twice - on serve and in attack (13:17), in the game Kirillov and Litvinov.

The residents of Surgut give chase and overtake their opponents at the cut-off point 19:19: the block catches, Kostadinov, Litvinov and Shevlyakov score. Kirillov is trying to follow in Osipov's footsteps and play in the center of the net, but Shevlyakov is waiting for a double block, 22:24. Slavi and Kirill Nikiforov return to the site, Fetsov serves into the net, but Stern presses the set with an attack from a block, 23:25.

In the opening of the second game, the Surgut team flies away from the disappointment of missing the end of the first set 1:4 after Fetsov's ace. The next draw is very important: or complete failure, or the opportunity to get hooked on the game. Moiseev saves twice in defense, Rodichev unscrews the emergency ball from the block, 2:4.

The Surgut team came out charged for the third set – Bobrov, remaining instead of Kostadinov, confidently removed, and Slavi hits two aces in a row, 3:0. But then the balance is restored: Stern is good, and Bobrov does not thank Moiseev for the next two salvations in defense.

An equal fight goes to the count 11:11. Gazprom-Yugra has protection, but there is no aggression in attack, the reciprocal discount from Stern is accurate. And then Fetsov hits an ace, 11:14. Rodichev is tired and gives way to Kostadinov, Nikiforov, with all his speed, does not have time to really get under the pass, 13:18. Kirillov is good in two on block, but Fettsov passes him one on one on the second try, 16:20. Demakov appears instead of Tkachev and brings the last chance with two attacks, 19:21. And Kostadinov had this chance in the final game, but his attack was softened, and the answer from Stern became a verdict. And another finish from Stern, 19:23. Nikiforov starred, but Shevlyakov didn’t even flinch at Osipov’s discount on the net ball, 20:24. Stern shortened his serve, the reception went to the hosts and Fetsov drove the ball under the hands of Kostadinov.

Lost on the case: “Yenisei” showed a much more complete, coordinated play in all elements. Yes, the owners were wrong, but it wasn't a system. On the contrary, we have a whole scattering of feats in defense and on the net, signature aces from Slavi, but it didn’t work out in the system. Here's a floating technique, flaws on the grid, unstable feed predetermined the final result.

Statistics confirm: lost the reception (35% positive and everything 12% excellent against 49% and 33%), respectively, seriously lost in attack (40% – 48%), lost the block 6-10. We state: “Enisey” turned out to be better prepared for the start of the championship.
