Anton Andreev, perhaps, not the brightest central blocking, but definitely very useful. Always enjoyed watching his game - except for those matches, When he opposed Gazprom-South. Now Anton will try on the uniform of the Surgut team and we all expect his signature effective game. About career and new challenge

I managed to play for different clubs (Kazan "Zenit-2", "Prikamye", Lokomotiv-Izumrud, ASK, "Orenburg region" - approx.. order.), and absolutely every team gave me a lot. It happened, that I stayed almost everywhere for several seasons and during this time the city and the club, where did you spend so much time, became close. The invitation to Surgut is another opportunity for me to grow as a player. Gazprom-Yugra has trained many excellent volleyball players, guys who had already played also came here and restarted their careers.

About colleagues in role

In Surgut, all central blockers, my future partners, deserve to be on the court and this is very good for the players, and for the team. I had different situations, somewhere I didn’t feel competition, somewhere in the lineup we had to fight for a place. There, where your place is guaranteed - it’s very difficult to grow, no matter how much you want it. Strong partners force you to conform: even if you don't beat them, you'll learn a lot. Them those, who did you play with?, I'll highlight Alexei Samoilenko, but, repeat, a very good lineup has been selected in Surgut. FROM Demakov we crossed paths back in Kazan, from Shevlyakov I played for ASK and Orenburg.

About your game

In my gaming arsenal, all elements are equal, no priority, I mean attack and block. I consider the head to be the main weapon on the court. clear, that it doesn't come right away, but with age, experience not only helps compensate for physics, but also forms the right mentality, helping to win.

I feel comfortable playing with all the setters., some just take more time, to play around, will adjust. But it happens, that almost immediately your “standard settings” match. There are good connections in Surgut, sure, that there won't be any problems.

About preparing for the season

Now I'm in Kazan, and free time, to be honest, quite a bit. If I don't train, then I spend time with my family, which is priceless for any athlete. In the middle of last season I had an injury and now I’m working hard in the gym with a rehabilitation specialist, so this problem doesn't bother me anymore. I expect to arrive in Surgut completely ready to work.
