In the second set, Masko began to struggle with a block in the fourth zone from the start, and Shevlyakov scored two out of four, 2:5. Masko doesn't serve, Kirillov passes by Shevlyakov and gives way to Ivanov. In "Dinamo-LO", Borilo suffered an injury when landing after a block, his place was taken by Dovgan. Meanwhile, the Surgut team had their best set yet, stopping Schenkel and Mergarejo with a block and gaining a break point with Rodichev’s attack on the line, 5:8. But only then, to fail again serially – this time on Dovgan’s serves. Artem didn’t exactly complicate the lives of his hosts, but in the attack Gazprom-Yugra had a complete olivier. In addition, Kurbatov took the shortened serve directly into Kolenkovsky’s hand - 6:14.
Nothing much has changed after that. Nagaets received a painful blow from Kolenkovsky and Vishnevetsky appeared on the court, left and returned back to Serov square, Kurbatov was replaced by Beskrovny, Fedorov – Shevlyakova, after Litvinenko's ace (11:22) the helpless Papazov was replaced by Rudnev... In the third game we managed to cling to the opponent and did not allow us to build on our success after another ace from Litvinenko (3:5). Litvinenko, Mergarejo and Schenkel tore us apart on the net, we couldn’t show anything intelligible in response. 15:25 - a logical result of volleyball in the Olivier style, when there was only enough strength and concentration for certain parts of the match.
