Собственно говоря, именно его игра и предопределила успех кемеровчан. Играли очков в очко, интересный счет на табло. the main thing, что болельщикам понравилось, и что счет в нашу пользу. Команда Сургута – хороший соперник. Если не показываешь с ней свой максимум, начинается нервотрепка. Они постоянно держали нас в тонусе, не было гандикапа при входе в концовку, но класс все-таки сказался и мы выиграли эти концовки. Против Музая готовились, он раньше получал львиную долю передач, мы его ждали, но сегодня Сургут повернул игру немного в другую сторону.

В первой партии было много собственного брака, неуверенность в своих силах какая-то была. Дальше нашли свой ритм и начали выполнять установку, те моменты, которые проговаривали до игры, многое стало получаться. It's a pity, что проиграли второй сет – имели возможность закончить, but it did not work. Сыграли с чемпионами очко в очко. Есть где добавлять, но есть и положительные моменты. Музай немножко потерял физические кондиции, есть небольшое повреждение у него, постараемся подвести его к следующей игре. В итоге сказался уровень того же Полетаева – именно он решил последний мяч. Во второй партии мы не решили, а эти игроки не дают второй шанс. Будем двигаться, в среду уже новая игра.

Мы сегодня бились. «Кузбасс» на сегодняшний день – лучшая команда России, и мы показали против нее хороший волейбол, except for the first batch. Нам не хватило забить в доигровке решающие мячи – если бы выиграли вторую партию, игра психологически бы перевернулась. В итоге они выиграли – значит, нам есть куда расти, надо делать выводы и работать. Если так будем подходить к каждой игре, у нас хорошие шансы радовать Сургут.
Лично для меня это вызов – в 37 лет показать себя, держать хорошую форму. У меня в январе отбор на Олимпиаду, если мы не отберемся, я уйду из сборной. Так что я буду стремиться показывать свой лучший волейбол, чтобы наш зал был еще более полным – это ведь седьмой игрок.
