FIRST FOUR: FRESH BLOOD

Do you believe, want - no, but the almost finished text disappeared from the inopportune (and when it comes in handy?) frozen computer. I had to write again. But the conclusions and thoughts are the same. the, what was accumulated during the season, can be erased from hard drive, but not from memory. so, how did the season remember 2018/2019 biennium? Author's version.

1. Epic fail of Zenit Kazan

May Kuzbass forgive me, but in the first lines - about the losers. They deserve it, because they were an era, and they themselves ended this era. Yes, again, with all due respect to Kuzbass and Civittanova – Kazan lost themselves. In just three weeks we designed a stand in the museum with our own hands.: "Zenit-Kazan" – great 2014-2018".

They, who speaks, that second place is also a result, that this is not “bottom”, they're being a little disingenuous. Yes, not the bottom. But over the course of several years, Zenit-Kazan forced itself, and others to believe, that there are no other places for the club, except the first one. They don't exist in nature. The first place is always taken, come tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes. We have learned to take Zenit's victories for granted, but suddenly tomorrow came. There's nothing wrong with second place, but there is no greatness, on which they are betting in Kazan. Now Kazan residents, especially considering that, HOW the two finals were lost, descended from Olympus to the earth, now they are mortal.

Let's state the obvious: strike combat trident of Kazan citizens (Leon-Mikhailov-Anderson) broke. The Cuban left, the American didn't really wake up, the Russian carried, as much as I could. Butko played through pain, lost the quality of the pass. Ngapet is a talented player, but he, it seems, the first Kazan citizen to become an ordinary mortal, without trying on the appearance of a celestial being. And a mortal can be blocked, and knock him out of the reception. The others followed him...

One side, loss of the championship to Kazan is good news for our club volleyball. New blood has appeared, hopes will be revived, competition will increase. On the other hand, well, when competition is on the rise, when competitors catch up with the leader. In our case, rather, the leader has lost his former grip. However, anyway - for everyone's benefit, including Zenit, who will now be a little hungry.

2. Takeoff of Kuzbass

To Kemerovo, and in Russian volleyball in general, probably, have not yet fully realized, what did Kuzbass do?. For the first time in the history of Russian (or maybe, and Soviet) volleyball club became the champion, who before the start of the season was not seriously considered as a contender for the title. Strong team, capable of aiming for a four - yes. But a champion?!

And the puzzle fits. Coach - leader - command. They say, that Sammelvuo is an excellent psychologist. In my opinion, the secret of his success is his ability to concentrate players on each game episode. Volleyball is a statistical game, he wins, who has accumulated more positive actions. It's impossible to win every draw, but in everyone you can fight for victory.

Sammelvuo never tires of repeating, what goes from game to game. You played one - think about the next one, but no further. Otherwise defocus. Have you ever seen a rally race from the cockpit?? Everything is decided by a split second, yawned a little - already in the ditch. It's about the same here.

Leader – Poletaev. No matter what they say, flight addiction exists in nature - and not only in Kuzbass. She would be in any club, with the exception of our own beaten Zenit. Yes, the rest are playing too, they score too, well done too. But Poletaev is the golden key to the victorious doors behind the canvas in Papa Tuomas’ closet.

Sure, no way without a team. Simply because volleyball is a team sport, interdependent, like no other. Again - when they say, that “Kuzbass” was collected from a pine forest from some no-names, it's beautiful, but a version far from reality. Кобзарь пришел в Кемерово чемпионом страны, победителем Лиги чемпионов, игроком сборной. Карпухов и Подлесных были лидерами «Югры-Самотлора» с разницей в год, тащили клуб на себе, сохраняя ему прописку в Суперлиге. Pashitsky, just a second, был лучшим блокирующим чемпионата Польши. Керминен – игрок сборной Финляндии. Все они пришли в «Кузбасс» состоявшимися игроками, что не помешало всем вместе обрести некую добавочную стоимость. Вернее сказать – только помогло.

Теперь у «Кузбасса» будет тяжелое испытание вторым годом. Забраться на вершину сложно, еще сложнее на ней удержаться. Но факт, что в России родился абсолютно новый чемпион, не может не радовать. it, опять же – свежая кровь, новые надежды, рост конкуренции.

3. «Факел» в огне

Еще один герой минувших дней – «Факел». Витязево – Подмосковье – Новый Уренгой, детский сад вырос, дотерпел, набрался опыта, нашел диагонального и первым показал, что «Зенит» не бессмертный. Here, of course, не без своего героя – Егор Клюка хорош и в доигровке (серьезно прибавил в приеме!), and, if needed, diagonally. Высота, сила, радиоуправляемая рука фехтовальщика. Идеальный вариант для Казани после ухода Андерсона, но в итоге Егор остается в «Факеле». Оно и к лучшему – у «Факела» есть реальный шанс бороться за медали и дальше, а также пошуметь в Лиге чемпионов.

Volkov, Feels, не прибавил так, как Клюка. Can, даже немного сдал в стабильности. Вырос (или просто показал себя?) Ivan Yakovlev. Внезапно отлично интегрировался Удрис, pity, что уходит. Надежен Богдан ну и далее по списку. Главное – у «Факела» индивидуальные усилия дают коллективную синергию, это наигрывается годами. Годы обучения прошли, впереди – время реализации потенциала.

4. Проблема второго года для Питера

Рожденные чемпионами стоят особняком по факту этого самого рождения: два года от роду, одна медаль, огромные амбиции и возможности. The problem is, что в самый ответственный момент сломался гвоздь питерской программы – Георг Грозер. Его на морально-мемориальных силах еще хватило на «Локомотив» в четвертьфинале, но затем – две проигранные серии молодым и наглым. Как итог – отсутствие медалей и Лиги чемпионов. However, были у «Зенита» проблемы и помимо травм Грозера. Подача в плей-офф не летела, прием хромал, доигровка чудила, Камехо не сумел перехватить роль лидера. А ведь бывало, что в гладком чемпионате питерцы побеждали чуть ли не одной подачей. Бывший сургутянин Алексей Сафонов зато вписался в команду, закрепившись в стартовом составе. Теперь к нему присоединятся Урсов с Андреевым, так что сургутская диаспора на берегах Невы не оставляет нам выбора – будем пристально следить за их успехами.
