Surgut residents stop Voronkov's attacks twice, but Ursov, the risk, hits the net, Makarov fishes the ball over the net with one hand - Krsmanovich is right there, 20:20. Ursov and Dovgan close Kovalev's attack, and Voronkov hits out - 22:20! The Surgut team gains a strategic advantage and has real chances to finish the game in three sets. Покатившаяся «обратка» захлестнула сургутян в четвертой партии. В середине сета прием позволил Макарову наконец-то перевести огонь с краев сетки, где не получалось ровным счетом ничего, в центр, к Крсмановичу, который трижды был точен – 13:17. Но и Жлоба тут же подключил Морова, а затем Петар ушел с передней линии и… все. Отчаянные розыгрыши вновь ушли в доход «Новы», а в концовке, когда жар погони уже не дышал в спину хозяевам, они позволили себе немного расслабиться, трижды ошибившись на подаче и схлопотав очередной эйс от Чефранова. Следующей подачей Александр принес сопернику победу – аут, 19:25.
Решающий сет решал многое не только в этом матче. На кону стояло стратегическое преимущество в борьбе за плей-офф плюс долгосрочный эмоциональный фон – после поражения в Кемерово еще раз уступить подобным образом для «Газпрома-Югры» было, скажем мягко, весьма и весьма неприятно.
В укороченную пятую партию уложилась вся картина матча: сургутяне начали с эйса Урсова и уверенно захватили инициативу – 8:4 к смене сторон и 10:5 после блока Ботину в эндшпиле затяжного розыгрыша. Случилось вот что: гости сумели выйти на площадку с холодной головой и позитивным эмоциональным зарядом, несмотря на упущенные возможности. А у «Новы» не получилось выдержать высочайший уровень игры, взятый ранее – когда-то должны были посыпаться ошибки и с их стороны. И они посыпались. Но и сургутяне не железные – Довгань чуть-чуть не укладывается в поле, 10:7. Андреев вроде бы достает в падении скидку Ковалева, но судьи увидели встречу мяча с терафлексом, 11:8. Ботин скидывает через касание в аут, а вышедший на подачу Артем Хабибуллин не идет страховать, полагая, что мяч не касался рук блокирующих – 12:9. Чефранов отловлен на блоке, 12:10. Биссет бьет отведенный мяч в аут, 12:11. Йордан не справляется с приемом и сам загоняет непростой мяч под блок, 12:12…
Moment of truth. После тайм-аута срабатывает опция Крсмановича в центре, на подачу выходит Чефранов и выбивает из приема либеро соперника, оформляя очередной эйс в концовке и принося команде матч-бол. Для усиления блока вместо Макарова на переднюю линию выходит Тройнин. С Воронковым в четвертой зоне всему залу понятно, куда последует передача. Так и есть – отлично отыгравший матч Федор взмывает в воздух и… упирается в тройной блок Биссета, Крсмановича и Тройнина, 15:12! Это была победа на характере с очень непростым соперником. Теперь всем и, primarily, самим сургутянам ясно, что у команды есть эти самые морально-волевые качества. Это очень важное знание, которое необходимо донести до ближайшей игры с еще одним прямым конкурентом – уфимским «Уралом». Ну а болельщикам – здоровья и выдержки…
