MISSION IS POSSIBLE: BEAT "DYNAMO-LO"
After a two week break, related to the Russian Cup, Gazprom-Yugra returns to the race - a busy New Year and Christmas calendar lies ahead. The first item in it is a home game with Dynamo-LO from Sosnovy Bor.
All two seasons, that Sosnovoborets are playing in the Super League, we fought heavy protracted battles with them with varying success. In season 2016/2017 years separated “peacefully” in the very middle of the championship – 1:3 at the end of December in Surgut and 3:1 in early January in St. Petersburg. Same result last season, except for that, that we won in five games.
Respectively, no reason to believe, that next Saturday it will be easier with Dynamo-LO. Or is there? Sosnovoborets started the current championship in sync with the Surgut team, with a series of defeats. We came out of the dive a tour early, having won three victories in a row to date, Dynamo have two wins in their last two matches: “Nova” was defeated in Samara (still with Shkulevicius, Shoemshchikov, Kabeshov and Bryansky), and then beat Ural at home.
That is, things are looking up, although just recently it was sad. Including from that, that the famous diagonal Pavel Moroz, who was hired as the main supplier of points in the off-season, was caught doping - an extremely rare thing for volleyball. Respectively, Sosnovoborets were left with one diagonal, Alexey Kolesnik, which the, however, made the most of the situation for myself, and for the team.
Compared to last season, the Dynamo-LO lineup has undergone major changes - and this also affected the start of the season., because teamwork takes time. The only setters left from the “old boys” are Denis Petrovs and Igor Tisevich, blockers Leonid Kuznetsov and Alexander Melnikov, finishing player Maxim Purin and libero Evgeniy Galatov. All!
Today the basis of "Dynamo-LO", in addition to the already named Kolesnik, are the finalists Maxim Shpilev, Alexander Boldyrev, Denis Shipotko, as well as Bulgarian central blocker Svetoslav Gotsev, signed during the championship. If we reduce the list to the main persons acting on the site, then this is Kolesnik, some of the couple Petrovs-Tisevich, Shpilev, Purine, Kuznetsov, Gotsev and Galatov. It is these players that the Surgut residents will have to meet at the Premier Arena first of all.
These names are unlikely to scare Gazprom employees, but it is necessary to treat them with due respect. Kolesnyk has already proved it, that is capable of carrying the load of the main diagonal, short Purin has the highest degree of persistence and excellent power supply, Shpilev, seem to be, experiencing a second youth at Dynamo-LO, Kuznetsov takes his toll with his size and attitude, Gotsev – mobility and technique. Both binders are European, as they say, class, with its own characteristics: more Tisicia in the stunt, I would be even more afraid of him, than Petrovsa. It remains to be added, that the team is led by almost his own person in Surgut, Oleg Sogrin.
In general, Dynamo-LO is a rival, what is called, in the teeth of Gazprom-Yugra – especially against the backdrop of those remaining in the first round (and there are both Zenit, "Kuzbass" and the capital's "Dynamo"). That is, need to take glasses. It will be very difficult to do this, but it's quite possible: given that, that the people of Surgut will withstand that level of unmistakable and, in the same time, aggressive game, which has been shown lately.
