The champion is stronger
Dynamo» (Moscow): Pankov - Shkulyavichus, Podlesnykh - Bogdan, Vlasov - Belogortsev, Kerminen
Gazprom-Yugra: Kirillov - Shahbanmirzaev, Makarenko - Katich, Piun - Bessogonov, Nagaec
Surgut came to the game in a more experimental line-up, than Muscovites. If Dynamo, by and large, only one base player was absent - Sokolov (Semyshev and Bogdan are interchangeable), then we didn’t have any Ozhiganov, nor Alekseev, neither Kurbatova nor Ionova. Nevertheless, the first third of the debut set "Gazprom-Ugra" kept close: after a long beautiful draw, that began with an unimportant reception and transfer, but ended with the wise actions of Makarenko on the grid, scoreboard fixed 12:13. true, on Pankov's powerful serves, the hosts immediately created a small reserve, 12:16. Surgutians entered the ending at "minus three", 17:20, but Rajab made a mistake twice - not serving and hitting out, - and personally relieved a little tension from the opponent. Piun and Kirillov gave the Dynamo team a set-ball with their clash in the fight for the right to throw the ball - the central blocker literally brought his setter to the opponent's side. Gathered, Gazprom-Ugra played three set-balls, but Dynamo had too many of them in reserve.
Second set of plot, yes and on account, reminded the first. Muscovites continued to make many mistakes on the pitch, Surgutians "tried" to keep up. The difference is, that "Gazprom-Ugra" led for some time in the account: after two unrealized attacks by Belogortsev and an attack by Kirillov on a passing ball, the score became 6:4. Dynamo overtook us at the mark 12:12: knocked out reception led to, that Bessogonov was forced to give in - and drove his captain under a tent of six hands on a block. After some time, Muscovites are already ahead: Pankov's two serves result in a missed hold and an ace, 13:15. Closer to the endgame Rajab ace and Kirillov keep the intrigue with two beautiful discounts (19:20), which is destroyed by Bogdan from the fourth zone and Podlesny with his signature pipe (19:22). Pankov's serve arrived in time - again a downed reception and a counterattack from the fourth zone, 24:20. The point was put by Likhosherstov, who replaced Vlasov.
In the course of the third installment, Konstantin Bryansky released Dmitry Zhuk to the court, our good friend Kirill Kostylenko and Cheslav Sventitskis. We started again in the same vein, keeping a distance 1-2 break balls: Kirillov's single block to his recent teammate Kostylenko raised the mood from our side of the site, 11:13. But Muscovites pretty quickly went into a comfortable gap at the downed reception of Surgut, turning 16:20 in 16:23. Further - a matter of technology. On a match-ball, Sventickis passes past Zhuk's hand, but he manages to break the ball from below, Rajab doesn't score, and Shkulyavichus accurate.
The impression of the game remains ambiguous. I think, what, despite defeat, our guys managed to relieve stress, that hovered over the team. At this stage, this, probably, maximum, which we could extract from the game with the reigning champion. I was also pleased with the presence on the site of two of our young pupils - Kirillov and Bessogonov, who are more and more confident in adult volleyball.
