For the fourth set, Andrey Dranishnikov returned the starting lineup. Zakhatenkov – ace, Zheleznyakov – three attacks in a row, 4:7. На брейковых мячах всегда есть «незаметная» работа блока и защиты, но тут нижегородцы начали отдавать сами: Захватенков выстреливает в глубокий аут, туда же бьет аварийный мяч Пятыркин, но мяч находит касание Шевлякова на блоке, 10:6. Мощнейшая подача АСК – прием буквально отлетает в Кириллова, который умудряется поднять мяч в воздух без ошибки, а Папазов забивает и это. Нижегородцы отчаянно рискуют и ошибаются: Железняков бьет уходящий мяч в антенну, Пятыркин отведенный мяч – мимо поля, Захватенков вроде бы снимается, но видеопросмотр фиксирует миллиметровый аут и это приговор, 14:6. Pyatyrkin, имея семь матч-болов у соперника на своей подаче, рискует – сетка.
Zheleznyakov, of course, прекрасен, но АСК провалился в приеме, что лишило Филиппова разнообразия действий, а на тяжелых мячах доигровщики выручали через раз. Surgutyans, vice versa, отлично сыграла доигровка, да и Папазов реабилитировался мощным финишным спуртом. Заслуженная, но немного затянутая победа.

Главный тренер АСК Андрей Дранишников: Много собственного брака, по статистике мы в этом сильно проиграли. А так равная игра, в Сургуте всегда тяжело играть, I know, я был в этих условиях. Могли где-то почище сыграть, но получилось как получилось. У нас все еще впереди, у нас игра с Оренбургом, она будет больше решать.
