"Oilman", however, also far from ideal: Sventitskis doesn't always get in tempo with the strikers, what, in particular, allowed Beskrovny and Kurbatov to take two pipes with a block. Ace Rudneva, out of the square, reduces the distance to three points, 16:19, blocking Khlyakin in the fourth zone practically eats up the gap, 19:20. In the next game the hosts had several chances to level the score, but Masko doesn’t score from Kirillov’s blocked pass. Surgut residents mirrored the debut of the second game: 4:1. In the fourth game, the guests started with Rakhmatullin, Chekmizov and Panov instead of Kochenov. At first, Neftyanik’s setter left his forwards without an attack, but the Orenburg team had a serve and a block, but the Surgut residents were unable to offer absolutely nothing in response. There are such sets, when some people don't succeed, and for others - nothing at all. Surgut residents seem to have fallen into hibernation again, swinging the ball, like an annoying fly. Neftyanik makes a double substitution, teams exchange shots, and Rudnev, who came out to strengthen the supply, fails to cope with the mission: cable, 10:13.

Neftyanik has a comfortable finish to the game, but the last word belongs to Papazov, 11:13. Reverse double guests, and the hosts have Ivanov on their serve again. Moiseev handles the ball poorly, depriving his team of a clear shot - Papazov scores an accident from Rodichev's pass, 12:13. The match turned out to be a record for the number of marriages on both sides, but gave the audience an unforgettable drama. The undulating game ended with a powerful rise of Gazprom-Yugra: get even with 3:10 it is extremely rare to succeed in a tiebreaker and this, perhaps, also a kind of record. The quality of the game still needs to be worked on, but faith in one’s own strength and then, that you have to fight to the end, was pumped up in Surgut this evening to the fullest.

In the first batch the installation worked, what did we say, then we did it. In the second game, plus or minus, everything is the same, but the players swam at some point, Surgut began to play cleaner. The third and fourth are all mirror images of the first and second. In the fifth game I won't say, that we relaxed, this party will be my pain, and players, I think, Same. You can't give it away like that. The most offensive thing, that we gave these balls away, which were returned to us just like that, without the risk. Surgut took advantage, got an extra game, scored - confidently and hard. Well, Papazov at the end, three hits in line... I didn’t hit the whole game, and did it at the right moment.

I'm very happy and proud of the team, that they didn’t stop playing in a difficult situation, demonstrated everything, what are you capable of. Surgut has always been famous for this character, and the guys proved once again, that they are worthy of the city and the title of gas workers. As for the failure in the fourth and early fifth games - yes, errors, felt insecure, it rolled. Expensive, that they were able to turn it around, didn't fall off. so, the team has character. After the game, I think, we will progress, play better. This has never happened in my career, I don't remember, so that with 3:10 win the fifth game.

You noticed it yourself, that teams played well only on one side of the court (smiles - ed.). In the first game we could not adapt to their finishers, under attack from a fast ball. We dismantled the team, everything had to come together, and in the first game we were waiting for the ball in the wrong places, you can say that. Well, then they started to move on their own, it turned out, softening on the block went, began to implement breaks. In the fourth game we lost concentration somewhere, errors started pouring in - a lot of failures, a lot of defects in fine-tuning freeball, to accept. In each element, if you make two mistakes for the whole team, then half the game is already lost. In the fifth we were lucky - somewhere due to psychology, due to this, that they got angry and managed to pull themselves together.

– By luck you mean Alexey Rodichev's serve?

– Not, it just happened that way (laughs - ed.). My serve is weak, but she's very uncomfortable. You just had to hold her. Fifth game, the guys are all tired, just had to keep up the flow, put a block, build a defense correctly. The season is just beginning, all the boys are young, add, psychology should now fall into place a little. And it will be more interesting to play, there will be no such unforced mistakes anymore.

– Did you have something similar?: get even in a tiebreaker with 3:10?

– Not, but in 2011 year with Belogorye in the playoffs we lost 7:11, Yes, and Surgut added emotionally, and on my very streak of innings we won that game.
