79 years ago our country turned out to be stronger. 9 May 1945, in all corners of our vast Motherland, they could not hold back their tears. And for the first time in many years – tears of joy. Our ancestors paid a huge price for this Victory: millions of Soviet soldiers did not return home, millions of families did not live to see their fathers, brothers, grandfathers, women also fought.
They, who was not at the front – worked for the benefit of the Red Army in the rear: in hospitals, in factories, fish, forest, coal fields, in agriculture.
Through their joint efforts it was possible not only to achieve that Victory, but also to preserve the memory of exploits and write the history of long 1418 days, how long did the Great Patriotic War last?.
We honor everyone, who forged Victory on the battlefield and in the rear, remember the siege survivors of Leningrad, concentration camp prisoners, thank you for that, that stood, and then at the cost of incredible efforts, raised the country on another, labor front.
