In response to the speech of the director of VC Samotlor Alexey Berezin on the website of the Nizhnevartovsk club, we consider it necessary to inform, that VC Gazprom-Yugra did not violate any obligations or agreements, announcing the establishment of partnerships with VC Samotlor.
Samotlor itself came up with an initiative for cooperation, we met our neighbors halfway, because they thought, that together we can bring more benefit to Ugra volleyball. Nobody suggested Samotlor to merge with Gazprom or give up big sporting goals, did not encroach on the independence of the Nizhnevartovsk club. On the other hand, the relationship between the base and child teams initially assumes a certain hierarchy. And the flagship of Ugra volleyball “Gazprom-Yugra” is currently simply by virtue of its presence in the Super League. You can't be offended by facts, How can you not be “a little pregnant”.
Our respected neighbors need to define their desires and expectations, so as not to cause reputational damage to either VK Gazprom-Yugra, neither VK Samotlor, not all Ugra volleyball.
