Fourth victory of YUKIOR
YUKIOR won its fourth victory in the MVL, having beaten Neftyanik-UOR from Orenburg in Ufa – 3:0 (25:23, 25:23, 25:14).
In the first set, our guys managed to extinguish the opponent’s offensive impulse (3:6 – 13:10), but closer to the end, YUKIOR lost its three-point advantage (19:19). In the end, Alexander Krasilnikov got the break: after his serve, Maxim Kirillov hit the passing ball (22:20), and after a timeout, the Orenburg striker hit into touch (23:20). Nevertheless, the opponent managed to equalize the score (23:23). At the decisive moment, the Neftyanik-UOR server launched a glider into the net, and Ivan Skvortsov made a block from the fourth zone after an unsuccessful attack by the Orenburg team at the first pace.
In the second game, after Skvortsov’s ace, YUKIOR reached the end in comfortable conditions – 20:17. Taking the difference to a set point (24:21), ours gave up a “spare” break point with a blow from the same Skvortsov to the block (24:23), but at the decisive shoot Ivan was impeccable.
In the third game after a successful start from YUKIOR (6:2) Neftyanik-UOR managed to level up (7:7). The first serious lead in the score occurred after winning a long, beautiful rally at the mark 14:12. Krasilnikov helped with a serve and an attack from the back line to go to 17:12. Skvortsov scored the next series of powerful serves, the knocked out technique did not allow the opponent to organize adequate resistance, we just had to wait.
Slightly inferior in reception (40% Torch timeout - and Dineikin confidently withdraws in the fourth zone 42%), Ugra residents took their toll on the net and serve. 6 aces against 3, 8 blocks against 5, 49% effectiveness in attack against 44%. The best scorer of the match was Alexander Evseev (13 points, including 1 ace, 48% in attack). 10 points on the account of Alexander Krasilnikov, including 3 block, Grandmaster attack efficiency, 58%. 9 points for Ivan Skvortsov, including 2 Ace.
