Surprises from ASK-2

The final games of the 6th round of the Russian Championship in the Youth Volleyball League were held in Surgut yesterday and today, in which a surprise was presented by young people from ASK-2.
8 January Nizhny Novgorod with a score 3:1 beat the owners of the site from YUKIOR at the expense of the raging "veterans": diagonal Klimenko 2002 year of birth typed 22 points with effectiveness in attack in 51%, and the spiker Zelenov 2000 year of birth recorded in his asset 19 points (52% efficiency in attack, 52% positive reception, two aces). In the second yesterday's match of SSHOR "Samotlor" barely got away from Kazan "Zenit-UOR". After two sets, Nizhnevartovsk residents were on fire 0:2, but managed to turn the tide of the game. At the tie-break, their superiority was no longer in doubt, 15:9. And today the surprises from ASK-2 continued - SSHOR "Samotlor" this time failed to correct the lost opening, 25:18 in favor of Volzhan. In the second and third sets, the residents of Ugra fought desperately, but lost twice on the balance sheet, 27:29 and 24:26. A dry victory for the Nizhny Novgorod team brought them closer to the top six teams, and here is SSHOR "Samotlor", Most likely, will not be able to keep the temporary leadership in the league.
In the final match of the round, YUKIOR beat Zenit-UOR 3:1. Taking the first set without resistance (25:13), young residents of Surgut predictably relaxed and paid (22:25). In the future, Artem Khabibullin managed to return the wards to tone, as evidenced by two confidently won games, 25:16 and 25:22. This time Ivan Skvortsov played qualitatively, impaled 17 points in attack and scored a couple of times on serve and block. Also, Konstantin Bessogonov played much more reliably - 71% in attack, 2 block and 3 Ace, Pavel Tebenikhin marked with five blocks, and Danil Voronchikhin got 14 points in attack with efficiency 54%.
At the end of the round, YUKIOR chalked up three full-fledged victories, SSHOR "Samotlor" earned eight points after winning three matches, ASK-2 beat strong opponents twice, and citizens of Kazan leave Surgut with one point taken from Nizhnevartovsk.
