Gazprom-Yugra ran the first crosses

Our club is out of vacation. The team has already completed the first of five retraction cycles (three working days + output), in which the focus will be on general physical fitness. All work is concentrated in Surgut, good for this, the municipality has created all the conditions: the guys are happy to train at the athletics stadium, swim in the new 50-meter pool, begin to enter the teraflex of the home hall in the "Premier Arena".

The second part of the training camp starts in August, including direct preparation for the season, which will start for Gazprom-Yugra 7 September at home, as part of the preliminary stage of the Russian Cup 2021 of the year. Through games with Novosibirsk Lokomotiv, Kuzbass, "Enisey" and "Ugra-Samotlorom" we will receive the necessary game practice and go to optimal conditions for the start of the championship.

Denis Chereisky left the squad of Surgut, transferred to Lokomotiv, Evgeny Chanchikov, who went to the "Torch" and Pavel Akhaminov, who will continue his career in the Orenburg "Oilman". For rent in "Yaroslavich", so as not to lose playing practice, Alexander Slobodyanyuk left. This is a smart decision, because the competition in the game is more powerful than ever: experienced Dmitry Makarenko joined Kirill Kostylenko and Ivan Nikishin, remained in the club and Kirill Fialkovsky. Another rookie, Ilya Kovalev, is currently at the disposal of the Ukrainian national team.

In the center, Ivan Ropavka joined Artem Dovgan and Egor Yakutin, played for Lokomotiv-Izumrud, also two of their pupils work at the training camp, Konstantin Bessogonov and Pavel Tebenikhin. Ivan Lukyanenko will compete with Evgeny Rukavishnikov as a binder, diagonally Rajab Shahbanmirzaev - Nikita Alekseev. Two liberos complete the picture, Alexey Kabeshov, who is well known to the fans of Surgut, and Nikita Eremin who moved from Belogorye.

Also, young players from the club system Maxim Kirillov and Pavel Vakhmyanin are working with the team., which will soon go to the disposal of the Russian U-19 youth team to participate in the World Cup. Worth adding, that another graduate of Gazprom-Ugra – Ivan Skvortsov - currently defending the colors of the U-17 national team at the European Championship.

On Monday, 19 july, a team meeting will be held, which will set goals and objectives for the upcoming season. While we can state, that the breeding work was completed successfully for Gazprom-Yugra: the team looks more balanced, reliable and flexible, and preparation for the season started without slipping, with nice mood.
